Beet Root Halwa is one of the delicious Indian Recipe,this sweet recipe very famous in my home town Pallapatti. In our home town we are serving this after meals specially for Briyani.

Beetroot (grated) – 1 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – half of cup
Ghee – 2 tsp
Melon seeds/musk melon seeds – for garnishing
Add Dry Foods if you like.
Pour ghee in kadai. whilst it becomes hot, upload the grated beetroot and saute for couple of minutes.For better taste make the half boiled beet root as a paste with the use of a mixer grinder.
upload the milk and sugar. cook in medium flame till the halwa leaves the perimeters of the kadai.
Garnish with melon seeds.For better thickness of this beet root halwa dilute small quantity of maida with water and stir well and cook well until the halwa thickened.
Serve the beetroot halwa hot or cold as you like. You can also refrigerate this beetroot halwa for 2 to 4 days and just warm the halwa when serving.
